Bor-It offers a complete range of accessories to maximize the use and value of our high quality cutting heads and augers. Available from stock are lead screws, core screws, cutting blades, carbide chippers and teeth as well as hex adapters, bushings, and shanks. We also offer a Remote Elevation Indicator to help you stay on grade.
Auger Parts
Worn or damaged auger can be refurbished with Bor-It replacement shanks, hex bushings, and auger flight upon request. Don't forget spare auger pins.
Cutting Head Parts
The body of your Bor-It cutting head will have a long life if it is used properly and the cutting tools are maintained. Sharp and properly selected tools will protect your heads from becoming too worn to use. Bor-It supplies replacement carbide teeth, holders, lead screws, chippers and wingcutters.
Male to Female Adapter
Bor-It adapters are made tough in order to handle the jobs where it is necessary to adapt hex size up or down. Sizes available from 1 3/8" to 5" Hex
Remote Elevation Indicator
The Bor-It REI is an accurate and inexpensive method of monitoring when your casing deviates from the boring grade. When a bore goes above or below the intended level, an indicator board provides a precise reading of the bore's variation from grade. Hoses, 3 sensing heads and detailed instructions are included
Hex Sleeves
Hex sleeves can be utilized in a situation where it is necessary to adapt a hex size down without inserting dead space into the drill string.
Male To Male Adapters
Bor-It Male to Male adapters are heat treated to the proper hardness in order to handle tough jobs where it is necessary to adapt the hex size. Sizes available from 1 3/8" to 5"

What is a Water Level kit, and do I need one?
A water level kit is a simple, highly reliable method for monitoring the vertical grade of your casing during a bore. It uses hydrostatic pressure to show the exact elevation of the leading edge of the casing relative to your pit. It is an essential, low-cost accessory for gravity-sewer installations.
Can I upgrade my older Bor-It machine with new accessories?
In many cases, yes. Because we maintain a consistent design philosophy in Ashland, Ohio, many of our modern accessories—such as Load-Sensing Hydraulic Valves and Pumps or Enhanced Master Track Sections—can be retrofitted to older units to improve safety and performance.
Do you sell individual Hex Adapters?
Yes. We carry a full stock of Hex Adapters (male-to-female or size-to-size). These are vital if you are renting augers with a different drive size than your machine, or if you need to transition from a 3" drive to a 2-1/4" auger string for a specific job.
What are Casing Adapters (Push Rings)?
Push rings are heavy-duty steel rings that sit between the machine’s thrust plate and the casing. They ensure the pushing force is distributed evenly around the circumference of the casing, preventing the steel from buckling or deforming under high pressure.
